Coach McDougall graduated
from Whitworth College in 1992, where he was a member of
two district champion baseball teams. He got a teaching
job at Olympia High School in the fall of 1993, and has
coached football and baseball at the school for the past
13 years. He has also run the Budd Bay Embroidery Sr.
American Legion Baseball program since 1996 featuring
local high school players. His wife Julie teaches at
Marshall Middle School. They have three future Bears: Marlee (5) and twins Andrew and Dylan (2).

Coach
Creighton graduated from Olympia High School in 1971. He
was a three year starter at OHS and went on to play at
Washington State University, graduating in 1975. Coach
Creighton was the head coach at OHS from 1986-1993
before resigning to spend more time as a physical
therapist. Coach McDougall coaxed him back to the
diamond in 2003. Coach Creighton is our defensive
coordinator running the defense from the dugout during
games. He works primarily with the infielders. |

Coach
Stewart graduated from Olympia High School in 1997 where
he was a two year starter. He spent the following two
years playing both at Centralia College and in North
Carolina for the Rocky Mount Rockfish of the Coastal
Plains League. He currently still plays in the Men’s
Adult Baseball League for the Capital City Bombers.
This is Coach Stewart’s third year with the staff as the
catcher’s coach, but his first year as an assistant with
the varsity. He and his wife Kristen are both public
service employees and are expecting their first future
bear in June. |
